Esther Polak made ripples in the GPS artist community when she utilized satellite technology in Nigeria to track the distribution of "Peak" brand milk. Polak feeds this data into a custom built robot that then traces the routes across the ground so those involved can reflect upon the journeys they've made. She feels that milk has always been a critical part of diet and has "sculpted our lives and landscape". Her goal was to create a visual documentary and reflection on nomadic life as we've rarely seen it.

The Meme Connection: I like to think that if feedburner does it's job that I might have something of a simply plot of how my meme migrates and gain a little insight into the wild world of online propagation. The statistics won't quite give me the same effect as Polak's milk distribution setup but it will nonetheless be interesting to see visitation and redirection stats.
